Once you have your beautifully designed wedding cake, it’s important that there is plenty of it and I recommend you have at least two flavours to offer your guests.
The tiers of my wedding cakes are approximately 4.5″ tall and typical party/finger portions are 1″ wide x 1″ deep x 4.5″ high. If you would like larger portions or to serve your cake as dessert, then the ideal portion size is 2″ wide x 1″ deep x 4.5″ high … the bigger the slices, the more cake is required.
For rich fruit cake, a typical serving is approximately 1″ x 1″ x 4.5″ (party/finger portion size) as this is a rich cake.
Each tier can be a different flavour with the most popular being the largest tier at the base.
I ensure that every cake is unique to each couple and, because no two cakes are the same, cakes are priced individually depending on the size, number of tiers and type of decoration, ranging from simple to complex.
Please note that all my cakes are lovingly custom made by hand with fresh, delicious ingredients and lots of care and attention to detail and, as such, cannot be compared to cakes made in a factory or sold in a supermarket.
